Earthing & Sunlight

Grounded feat Edgar Mitchell & Joseph Mercola

The movie tells the true tale of an Alaskan wildlife filmmaker s persistent curiosity and quest to test the claims of what appears to be an outrageously simple and too good to be true healing concept physical, bare skin contact with the Earth which may have been known by civilizations throughout history. New research has started to confirm the unexpected, that the surface of the Earth has healing power, like a gigantic treatment table. He introduces this concept to his fellow townsmen in Haines, Alaska (population 1,700), many of whom suffer from major pain or disabling conditions. Starting with his own pain relief, he witnesses and films a surprising and miraculous healing in the town generated by simply grounding people to the Earth, that is, reconnecting them to the Earth s healing energy. Even an orphaned moose calf named Karen participates in the healing. The news of the town s response draws the attention of Apollo astronauts who walked on the moon, as well as doctors and scientists. This highly unusual and eye-opening movie premieres on many media platforms, beginning in October, 2013. It will change the way you look at the Earth beneath your feet!

Earthing: The Art of Walking Barefoot

Earthing therapy rests on the intuitive assumption that connecting to the energy of the planet is healthy for our souls and bodies. And while there’s a definite, if New-Age, appeal to the concept of energetically connecting with Mother Earth, there’s also a more scientific angle to the practice, which posits that access to the abundant supply of free electrons in the (subtly negatively charged) ground can help neutralize free radicals—if only we would take off our shoes and access them. Several people in our community (including GP) swear by earthing—also called grounding—for everything from inflammation and arthritis to insomnia and depression. Below, longtime earthing-movement leader Clint Ober explains what earthing is, how it works, and—importantly—how to do it yourself.

The effects of grounding (earthing) on inflammation, the immune response, wound healing, and prevention and treatment of chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases

Multi-disciplinary research has revealed that electrically conductive contact of the human body with the surface of the Earth (grounding or earthing) produces intriguing effects on physiology and health. Such effects relate to inflammation, immune responses, wound healing, and prevention and treatment of chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. The purpose of this report is two-fold: to 1) inform researchers about what appears to be a new perspective to the study of inflammation, and 2) alert researchers that the length of time and degree (resistance to ground) of grounding of experimental animals is an important but usually overlooked factor that can influence outcomes of studies of inflammation, wound healing, and tumorigenesis. Specifically, grounding an organism produces measurable differences in the concentrations of white blood cells, cytokines, and other molecules involved in the inflammatory response. We present several hypotheses to explain observed effects, based on current research results and our understanding of the electronic aspects of cell and tissue physiology, cell biology, biophysics, and biochemistry. An experimental injury to muscles, known as delayed onset muscle soreness, has been used to monitor the immune response under grounded versus ungrounded conditions. Grounding reduces pain and alters the numbers of circulating neutrophils and lymphocytes, and also affects various circulating chemical factors related to inflammation.

Grounding – The universal anti-inflammatory remedy

Inflammation is defined as a localized response to trauma or infection that can wall off damaged tissues until the immune system removes foreign matter, damaged cells, and microbes [1,2]. A low level of chronic inflammation, often referred to as “silent inflammation”, can continue for years, damaging and compromising the function of adjacent healthy tissues and unnecessarily weakening the immune system.

Such situations pose a challenge to the healer because a small pocket of chronic inflammation from an old injury can release toxins into the body [2]. The difficulty for the physician is finding the source of the problem, which can be a pocket of inflammation from a distant forgotten trauma, an unrecognized dental issue such as a cavitation or root canal or even a walled off tissue injury.

Most clinicians routinely deal with inflammation by prescribing anti-inflammatory drugs. Such drugs are important clinical agents in their ability to reduce inflammation-related pain but many have substantial side effects. Practitioners of integrative medicine treat their patients with other factors such as a non-inflammatory diet, targeted nutritional supplementations, detoxification maneuvers, mind/body techniques, and now grounding to the earth’s energy (electrons and the Schumann resonances)

Earthing/grounding and the Schumann resonances

Grounding or earthing the body is having direct contact with the natural electric charge of the earth (electrons). We believe this natural anti-inflammatory is the non-pharmaceutical therapy of choice. It is free, easy to implement, and improves quality of living. Our research group refers to grounding as perhaps vitamin G or electronic nutrition [4,5]. This energetic phenomenon includes the Schumann resonances, an electromagnetic “vibration” (7.83 Hz, fundamental frequency) in the atmosphere as well as a humming of the energetic surface of the earth [6]. The Schumann resonances are not uniform but vary from moment to moment in a rhythm that affects the motion of the electrons in the surface of the earth. Thus, the earth’s ground is electronically active and dynamic.

The fundamental frequency of the Schumann resonances vibrates at 7.83 Hz or roughly eight times per second. This key frequency of the grounding phenomenon is maintained by a global electrical circuit. This circuit has three main generators: the solar wind entering the magnetosphere; the ionospheric wind and in thunderstorms occurring predominantly around the equator as well as the rest of the globe with lightning strikes happening thousands of times per minute. This creates a constant current of thousands of amperes transferring positive charge to the upper atmosphere (ionosphere) and negative charge to the surface of the earth [7]. The earth’s surface is, therefore, inundated with enormous amounts of free electrons. Such earth electrons, when conducted to the human body, result in favorable and physiological changes. Previous research has demonstrated attenuation of the inflammatory response, decreased red blood cells RBC aggregation, improved heart rate variability (HRV) and a favorable impact on blood viscosity [8].

Covid- 19

…In the patients that were grounded, the complication of blood clots was not seen as opposed to the patients that were not grounded. After 1–3 days of grounding, most patients experienced improvement in fever, dyspnea, cough, weakness, headache, chest pain, body pain and even taste and smell loss. Twenty patients of the 59 had severe illness and 17 improved, two were lost in follow-up and one expired. In 28 with moderate illness, all improved; and in 11 with mild illness, all improved and no deaths were reported. Mousa concluded that grounding demonstrated significant preventative as well as curative aspects in the treatment of Covid-19 [].

These two communications demonstrate that grounding the human body may assist in not only the prevention of significant symptoms but assistance in recovery from the illness. Both of these communications demonstrate that assimilated electrons from the earth are not only quick acting antioxidants but they also help to synchronize hormonal rhythms of the body in contact with the earth’s electric field. Although further study is needed, it is interesting to speculate that this regenerated supply of free electrons acting as natural antioxidants neutralizes free radicals and minimizes both acute and chronic inflammatory events.

Age and non-communicable diseases

However, the rise in non-communicable diseases presents another major challenge to our healthcare system as cardiovascular, neurodegenerative, type 2 diabetes, chronic kidney disease and cancer continue to afflict the world’s population with 41 million deaths annually [13].

Age is another factor as people are living longer. Scientists have stated that the deterioration of the immune system as human’s age is often referred to as immune senescence [14]. One medical theory states that the general inexorable decline occurring during the aging process is caused by oxidative stress resulting in inflammation and injury to cells as well as DNA.

In another small clinical investigation, earthing and grounding effects were studied on hypertensive individuals. There were ten participants in the study, all of whom were on one to three anti-hypertensive drugs. All ten patients reduced their blood pressure and many were able to reduce their reliance on hypertensive blood pressure medication. Systolic blood pressure levels decreased 8.6%–22.7% with an average reduction of 14.3%. The pilot study clearly demonstrated that grounding for a minimum of ten to 12 h per day resulted in remarkable blood pressure lowering [19].

Prevention and treatment of COVID-19 infection by earthing

One reason for death in COVID-19 infection is suspected to be the “cytokine storm” [14]. Cytokine storm is an activation cascade of auto-amplifying cytokine production as a result of dysregulated host immune response to different triggers among them are infections [15]. The proinflammatory cytokine, Interleukin-6, is a major mediator of acute inflammatory response and cytokine storm. Its level elevated above the normal range in patients with COVID-19 [16,17].

The earth’s surface has an unlimited and constantly regenerated supply of free electrons. It is electrically conductive, and its electron supply is renewed by the global atmospheric electrical circuit [18,19]. It has been suggested that free or mobile electrons from the earth could improve chronic inflammation by favoring as natural antioxidants [20]. The effect is proposed by free electrons influx that absorbed into the body through direct contact with the earth probably neutralizes free radicals and, that way, minimizes acute and chronic inflammatory events [3]. A preprint published study also demonstrated that earthing produced alkaline pH medium in the respiratory tract. The alkaline medium reduced the ability of the pH-dependent coronaviruses to enter into respiratory epithelial cells.

Mycelial DNA persistence in a forest soil

Living fungi can be identified and monitored in their soil habitat using an array of molecular methods. However, DNA originating from dead fungal tissue may become stabilized in the soil and remain detectable for some time after cell death rendering species detections with molecular methods difficult to interpret. Very little data exist about the persistence time of DNA from dead mycelium as it decomposes within the soil ecosystem.

SCHUMANN RESONANCE – Excerpt from Nexus Magazine, Vol. 10, #3, April-May, 2003

In conclusion, Miller and Miller postulate, along with others that,

1.The organization of all biological systems is established by complex electrodynamic fields. We are fundamentally electromagnetic, rather than chemical beings. Wave interaction is a key determinant of biological structure and optimal functioning. Biosystems are sensitive to natural and artificial electromagnetic fields. Perturbations in environmental fields can induce changes in organisms informed by those fields. Field frequencies and amplitudes affect our biodynamic state.

2. ELF frequencies of Schumann’s Resonance are intimately linked with those of human brainwaves. Natural or artificially induced changes in SR could affect subtle and perhaps gross brainwave generation. In particular, it could lead to changes in patterns and frequencies of resonance and resulting phenomena such as homeostasis, REM, psi, and healing.

For a decade, Robert Beck researched the brain wave activity of healers from all cultures and religious backgrounds (he enumerates psychics, shamans, dowsers, Christian healers, seers, ESP readers, kahuna, Santeria, wicca practitioners and others). Independent of their belief systems, each exhibited “nearly identical EEG signatures” during their “healing” moments: a 7.8-8Hz brainwave activity, which lasted from one to several seconds and which was “phase and frequency-synchronized with the earth’s geoelectric micropulsations – the Schumann resonance”. (Sidorov, JNLRMI)

Liquid crystals (DNA, brain ventricles, and cellular structures) in the human body may operate as antennae for detecting and decoding such global and local ELF signals. Beal (1996) proposes that liquid crystals (which are an intrinsic part of cell membranes) act as a detector/amplifier/memory storage device for ELF EM patterns in the environment. Proteins, tend to orient themselves in the 10-Hx resonant EMF, so would be extremely sensitive to ELF changes in the 10Hz region. A coherent wave-field may emerge from the body’s own liquid crystal (LC) matrix.]

The very structure and organization of living tissues is, however, itself regulated by that master molecule, the DNA. The genetic system (consisting, to be more accurate, of an equidirectional translation function which may start equally well with DNA, RNA or protein) reveals itself as a complex, multidimensional code with both local (codon) and global (context), material (nucleotide) and field-like (EM hologram) parameters, all of which are mutually interdependent and at the same time subject to external, environmental influences. (Sidorov, JNLRMI )

3. There is a strong correlation between behavioral disturbances in humans and periods of solar and geomagnetic field turbulence. Conversely, studies show that subjects living in isolation from geomagnetic rhythms over long periods of time developed increasing irregularities and chaotic physiological rhythms – which were dramatically restored after the introduction of a very weak 10Hz electrical field. Early astronauts suffered until SR generators were installed in their spacecrafts.

4. Geomagnetic anomalies (tectonic strain, earthlights, geomagnetic field perturbations) can induce some forms of anomalous cognition – such as auditory and visual hallucinations, and TLTs (temporal lobe transients or small seizures). Also, one of the effects of meditation is to “quiet the mind” as a method of allowing the “free-run” (or silent thalamic periods) to become entrained by natural geophysical rhythms. This form of tuning or “magnetoreception” is mediated by the pineal gland, (30% of its cells are magnetically sensitive), and organic magnetite-containing tissues. Persinger (1989) points out that deep temporal lobe activity exists in equilibrium with the global geomagnetic condition. When there is a sudden decrease in geomagnetic activity, there appears to be an enhancement of processes that facilitate psi reception, especially telepathy and clairvoyance. Increases in geomagnetic activity may suppress pineal melatonin levels and contribute to reductions of cortical seizure thresholds. Indeed, melatonin is correlated with temporal lobe- related disorders such as depression and seizures. (Krippner)

5. Optimal global ELF (calm night; low sunspot activity; low EM pollution) conditions can facilitate anomalous cognitions, including psi such as ESP, remote viewing, and remote healing. [P]si is always present in space and time, waiting to be accessed by crisis, emotion, or by optimal laboratory stimulus parameters. Geomagnetic activity may affect the detection capacity of the brain for this information, especially the neural pathways that facilitate the consolidation and conscious access to this information. Without this geomagnetic activity, awareness of the psi stimulus might not be as likely and the brain’s “latent reserve capacities” would not be utilized. (Krippner)

Schumann’s Resonances and Human Psychobiology Iona Miller and Richard Alan Miller

INTRODUCTION The rhythm of life has evolved at an even tempo for epochs. We live in a matrix of oscillating fields; the tiniest fluctuations in one interlocked field carry over perturbation into others. Many times per second, pulses travel completely around the world between our planet’s surface and the ionosphere sending coordinating signals to all organisms. These signals couple us to the global electrostatic field. Named for their discoverer, these Schumann Resonances (SR) provide the orchestrating pulse for life on our planet.

We all march to the cadence of this cosmic drummer — our planetary heartbeat, which sets the tempo for health and well-being. Damaging this planetary pacemaker could spell doom for life as we know it. In the name of progress and defense, this pacemaker is now threatened, while vast amounts of public money are spent on this exploitation. Even more tax funds are allocated to implement the ill-conceived “Star Wars” missile defense, and the energy beam Project HAARP.

“What is clear is that part of the money voted to Bush’s Star Wars plan will be used for research into space-based lasers,” the Independent reported. “These, we are told, will be used to shoot down the missiles fired in anger by ‘rogue states.’ But they will, inevitably, evolve into weapons aimed at America’s enemies from space. U.S. Space Command doesn’t even bother to hide this fact. The most chilling illustration in Vision 2020 is of such a space-based laser firing a beam of energy at the earth.”

“What the Russians are worried about (as they’re trying to explain in badly translated prose from Moscow’s Interfax News Agency) are U.S. plans to begin large-scale scientific experiments using the Alaska-based HAARP in 2003. Ninety Russian deputies signed the appeal against the HAARP program, charging that the experiments “would create weapons capable of breaking radio communication lines and equipment installed on spaceships and rockets, provoke serious accidents in electricity networks and in oil and gas pipelines and have a negative impact on the mental health of people populating entire regions.” (Fitrakis, 2002)

The ionosphere shields us from deadly radiation from the sun and deep space. Holes are now being routinely punched in this insulating blanket by high-frequency radio waves, and may accidentally tear open the fragile cocoon of human and planetary evolution. Dire consequences could be as devastating as the failure of an individual’s pacemaker. First, we will give an overview, then define and describe some terms used here in greater detail deeper in the article.
This environmental rhythm — the fundamental driving system for all life on our small blue planet — is jeopardized by human manipulations of the ionosphere, such as project HAARP. It is dangerous to fool with Mother Nature as the results of ozone depletion and other ecological calamities have shown. It might be easy to see that such survival risks don’t balance alleged benefits, but targeted research on potential problem areas has been virtually non-existent.
Lewis B. Hainsworth was among the first to suggest that human health is linked with geophysical parameters by way of the naturally occurring Schumann ELF (extremely low frequencies). His hypothesis identified naturally occurring features which determine the frequency spectrum of human brain-wave rhythms. He concluded that the frequencies of human brain-waves evolved in response to these signals. If the hypothesis is correct, conditions for evolutionary changes in human brainwave patterns have now been established.
“The frequencies of naturally occurring electro-magnetic signals, circulating in the electrically resonant cavity bounded by the earth and the ionosphere, have governed or determined the ‘evolution’ or development of the frequencies of operation of the principal human brain-wave signals: In particular, the alpha-rhythm is so placed that it can in no circumstances suffer an extensive interference from naturally occurring signals.”
Further, variations in them can produce mild to disastrous health and behavioral changes. These waves probably help regulate our bodies’ internal clock, affect sleep patterns (REM), and hormonal secretion. The nature of the applied stimulus makes it difficult to identify the responses directly, as they are most likely to occur in the form of stress- related conditions. They will therefore, show up as drastic increases in mental disturbance, anti-social behavior, psycho-somatic conditions, and neurological disturbances. Some electrical field phenomena have already been linked with abnormal cell growth and a decrease in immuno-competency.

All these factors could be expected to lead to the appearance of ‘new’ diseases, probably accompanied by a decline in resistance to many minor infections: an increase in conditions related to abnormal cell development, including cancer, birth defects, and infertility and an increase in psychological disturbance problems, e.g. drug addiction, and suicides. These existing psychobiological problems will increase in scale, but could be studied for deviations from ‘normal’ alpha cycles of 10.4 Hz with detectable changes in psychological characteristics and mental abilities

Kindling is a term applied, in particular, to the entrainment of neurons in the brain. They are ignited in coherent global patterns producing larger waves across a greater surface of the brain. It becomes obvious that in deep meditation, when waves of alpha and theta rhythms cascade across the entire brain, it is possible for the human being and the planet to come into resonance. There is a transfer of energy and information, which is embedded in a field rather than being a field. Perhaps the planet communicates with us in this primal language of frequencies.

Ample anthropological evidence shows that humans have intuitively synchronized with the planetary resonance throughout human history and back into the mists of time. There is cross-cultural evidence demonstrating a variety of ritualistic practices which enhance this harmonization with the planetary field. Perhaps the most obvious “drivers” of these trance states are shamanic drumming and trance dance, arguably employed for over 50,000 years. Pulsing light is another driver. A further example comes from the use in both the Jewish and Muslim faiths of bobbing and swaying while praying or reading holy books.

This trancing phenomenon can be presumed to ingrain texts at a deeper level and to create “experiences” to go along with conceptual indoctrination. It may also be linked in some manner to hypnotic gesturing (mudras) and speech, and therefore to charisma or so-called “mana” personalities. Mead and Bateson reported a technique transmitted to Balinese children which this culture intuitively employed to harmonize their communities. They discovered that the parents encouraged their children to vibrate parts of their body, harmonizing to the SR cycle. And you can do the same thing; you may already do it unconsciously.

If you sit in a chair and move your foot so that it’s resting on the ball of the foot, and you get it at the right angle, your whole leg will start to vibrate. It goes into an oscillation. That oscillation is so close to the SR cycle as to be virtually the same. And that’s what Balinese parents encouraged their children to do. It helps them go into trance.

If one looks into a classroom of children, one will notice that the children are never sitting still. Teachers and parents become annoyed, constantly telling them to “Sit still!” They are constantly bouncing their legs; and moving their arms. This may be a natural way in which our body energizes itself. And this may even be the heart and soul of most ceremonial experiences. The body will begin to move, and hands begin to flutter. When one look at the hands of a healer, they are typically fluttering. And if one looks at the older ceremonial practices, where there is less constraint on what they should or should not do, the whole body is usually shaking, fluttering, or in constant motion.

Humans are Waking Up: For First Time in Recorded History, Schumann Resonance Jumping to 36

On 1/31/2017, for the first time in recorded history, the Schumann Resonance has reached frequencies of 36+.

This is a big deal. In 2014, it was considered anomalous for the frequency to have risen from it’s usual 7.83 frequency to somewhere in the 15-25 levels.

Here is what it looked like in 2014:

And an article discussing how strange this was back in 2014:

Now it is spiking at well over 30 for the past two days.

Site where this info is from (where you can track in real time):

Then click on “Schumann resonance” on the left. The site needs to be translated.

According to Wikipedia (, the Schumann Resonance “are a set of spectrum peaks in the extremely low frequency (ELF) portion of the Earth’s electromagnetic field spectrum. Schumann resonances are global electromagnetic resonances, generated and excited by lightning discharges in the cavity formed by the Earth’s surface and the ionosphere.”

It has long been suspected that human consciousness can impact the magnetic field and create disturbances in it, particularly during moments of high anxiety, tension and passion:

According to the above article, “As human beings we have extraordinary potentials we have hardly begun to study much less understand. Creative gifts, intuitions, and talents that are unpredictable or emergent may become stabilized in generations to come. Hopefully, we can learn to understand both our emergence from an essentially electromagnetic environment and facilitate our potential for healing, growth and non-local communication.”

The “Schumann Resonance” spike from June-18th-2023 is being scrubbed from the Internet!

Since the pictures of the”Schumann Resonance” spike from June-18th-2023 went viral and every social media app jumped on the topic, it’s getting harder and harder to find images of the original graph. In addition, the last 2 Days have been blacked out on the website. And Twitter update accounts are forced to stop posting for a couple of days…

Don’t try looking for it too much for some reason the Google search is flooded with scam/fake websites about Schumann Resonance… quite strange. Is it just me or does this looks sketchy?

35 min. ago

Interlocking grid patterns through frequency… This should be like a singularity moment for the science of vibration and frequency. But we are getting crickets instead.

The Earth has plasma particles from the sun pushing on it all of the time. The plasma particles entering the atmostphere (or rather interacting witht he upper atmosphere) is what generally gives us these frequency readings on the Schumann graph.

These patterns are something else entirely. Its like form of sacred geometry, purposefully put out in vibrational tone. Its next-level science if purposeful. And if this was a natural event, then I would assume something is going on with the Earths magnetic field.

Either way, these subjects are taboo. Suppressing them has been the only way for them to stay in control. These vibratory frequencies are the KEY to human civilization waking up en masse.

Everyone needs to meditate and key in on these energies. Make use of the vibratory frequency as it is delivering you energy ever second.

I have seen theories that it can reprogram or interact with DNA.

It would appear that some seem to think our dna is being upgraded. Others think it’s a sign of a pole reversal.

Water Memory (2014 Documentary about Nobel Prize laureate Luc Montagnier)

Water is the key element of life, but new information is coming to light on the element which we thought we were so familiar with: information which could potentially reimagine our tree of life.
That is the belief shared by the advocates of a surprising theory called “water memory”. For Prof. Luc Montagnier, water has the ability to reproduce the properties of any substance it once contained. Water would have the ability to retain a memory of the properties of the molecules.

What if Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, autism, HIV and even cancer could be treated thanks to this controversial theory?

DNA Molecules Can ‘Teleport,’ Nobel Winner Says

A Nobel Prize winning biologist has ignited controversy after publishing details of an experiment in which a fragment of DNA appeared to ‘teleport’ or imprint itself between test tubes.

According to a team headed by Luc Montagnier, previously known for his work on HIV and AIDS, two test tubes, one of which contained a tiny piece of bacterial DNA, the other pure water, were surrounded by a weak electromagnetic field of 7Hz.

Eighteen hours later, after DNA amplification using a polymerase chain reaction, as if by magic the DNA was detectable in the test tube containing pure water.

Oddly, the original DNA sample had to be diluted many times over for the experiment to work, which might explain why the phenomenon has not been detected before, assuming that this is what has happened.

The phenomenon might be very loosely described as ‘teleportation’ except that the bases project or imprint themselves across space rather than simply moving from one place to another.

To be on the safe side, Montagnier then compared the results with controls in which the time limit was lowered, no electromagnetic field was present or was present but at lower frequencies, and in which both tubes contained pure water. On every one of these, he drew a blank.

The quantum effect – the imprinting of the DNA on the water – is not in itself the most contentious element of the experiment, so much as the relatively long timescales over which it appears to manifest itself. Quantum phenomena are assumed to show their faces in imperceptible fractions of a second and not seconds minutes and hours, and usually at very low temperatures approaching absolute zero.

Revealing a process through which biology might display the underlying ‘quantumness’ of nature at room temperature would be startling.

Montagnier’s experiment will have to be repeated by others to have any hope of being taken seriously. So far, some scientists have been publically incredulous.

“It is hard to understand how the information can be stored within water over a timescale longer than picoseconds,” said the Ruhr University in Bochum’s Klaus Gerwert, quoted by New Scientist magazine, which broke the story (requires registration).

What does all of this mean? It could be that the propagation of life is able to make use of the quantum nature of reality to project itself in subtle ways, as has been hinted at in previous experiments. Alternatively, it could be that life itself is a complex projection of these quantum phenomena and utterly depends on them in ways not yet understood because they are incredibly hard to detect.

Speculatively, (and Montagnier doesn’t directly suggest anything so unsubstantiated), it could also be the little-understood quantum properties of the water molecule and not just its more obvious chemical bonding properties that gives it such a central role in the bio-engineering of life-forms. Water might be a good medium in which DNA can copy itself using processes that hint at quantum entanglement and ‘teleportation’ (our term).

Montagnier’s paper goes on to discuss the phenomenon he claims to have uncovered using ‘quantum field theory’ within the context of his personal interest, disease propagation.

Dr. Emoto and The Hidden Messages in Water

Who Was Dr. Masaru Emoto?

Dr. Masaru Emoto, the Japanese scientist who revolutionized the idea that our thoughts and  intentions impact the physical realm, is one of the most important water researchers the world has  known. For over 20 years until he passed away in 2014, he studied the scientific evidence of how the molecular structure in water transforms when it is exposed to human words, thoughts, sounds and  intentions.

The Hidden Messages in Water

The extraordinary life work of Dr. Emoto is documented in the New York Times Bestseller, The Hidden Messages in Water.

In his book, Dr. Emoto demonstrates how water exposed to loving, benevolent, and compassionate  human intention results in aesthetically pleasing physical molecular formations in the water while  water exposed to fearful and discordant human intentions results in disconnected, disfigured, and  “unpleasant” physical molecular formations. He did this through Magnetic Resonance Analysis  technology and high-speed photographs.

See the following water crystal photographs from Dr. Emoto’s work. Each water crystal you see was exposed to the word it has written next to it prior to being photographed:

Dr Masaru Emoto Water consciousness
Thank You Emoto Water Crystals

His research also showed us how polluted and toxic water, when exposed to to prayer and intention  can be altered and restored to beautifully formed geometric crystals found in clean, healthy water.  The following photos are images of photographs of the the water in the Fujiwara Dam before and  after the Reverend Kato Hoki, chief priest of Jyuhouin Temple, offered an hour long prayer over it.

How Music Affects Water?

Dr. Emoto also studied how sound affects water. The Emoto music studies demonstrate how certain  types of sound, like classical music, generate beautiful crystalline patterns, while heavy metal music, generate ugly and distorted crystalline formations. In the images below you see the crystalline  formation resulting from water being exposed to Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 and then in contrast what the water crystal image looks like after listening to heavy metal music.Emoto-Water-Consciousness-Music

Dr. Masaru Emoto put Water as a Living Consciousness on the map for the scientific world. He showed us how water is an energy capable of more than we ever imagined. The power human  thoughts, sounds and intentions has to strengthen and disempower is one of the greatest discoveries of our time.

His work has us question, if water is affected by the words, intentions, and energies, what about  human beings, who are made of mostly water? If we transform the water and thoughts we are made of, what else is possible?

Regular sun exposure benefits health

Since it was discovered that UV radiation was the main environmental cause of skin cancer, primary prevention programs have been started. These programs advise to avoid exposure to sunlight. However, the question arises whether sun-shunning behaviour might have an effect on general health. During the last decades new favourable associations between sunlight and disease have been discovered. There is growing observational and experimental evidence that regular exposure to sunlight contributes to the prevention of colon-, breast-, prostate cancer, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, multiple sclerosis, hypertension and diabetes. Initially, these beneficial effects were ascribed to vitamin D. Recently it became evident that immunomodulation, the formation of nitric oxide, melatonin, serotonin, and the effect of (sun)light on circadian clocks, are involved as well. In Europe (above 50 degrees north latitude), the risk of skin cancer (particularly melanoma) is mainly caused by an intermittent pattern of exposure, while regular exposure confers a relatively low risk. The available data on the negative and positive effects of sun exposure are discussed. Considering these data we hypothesize that regular sun exposure benefits health.

Insufficient Sun Exposure Has Become a Real Public Health Problem

This article aims to alert the medical community and public health authorities to accumulating evidence on health benefits from sun exposure, which suggests that insufficient sun exposure is a significant public health problem. Studies in the past decade indicate that insufficient sun exposure may be responsible for 340,000 deaths in the United States and 480,000 deaths in Europe per year, and an increased incidence of breast cancer, colorectal cancer, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, autism, asthma, type 1 diabetes and myopia. Vitamin D has long been considered the principal mediator of beneficial effects of sun exposure. However, oral vitamin D supplementation has not been convincingly shown to prevent the above conditions; thus, serum 25(OH)D as an indicator of vitamin D status may be a proxy for and not a mediator of beneficial effects of sun exposure. New candidate mechanisms include the release of nitric oxide from the skin and direct effects of ultraviolet radiation (UVR) on peripheral blood cells. Collectively, this evidence indicates it would be wise for people living outside the tropics to ensure they expose their skin sufficiently to the sun. To minimize the harms of excessive sun exposure, great care must be taken to avoid sunburn, and sun exposure during high ambient UVR seasons should be obtained incrementally at not more than 5-30 min a day (depending on skin type and UV index), in season-appropriate clothing and with eyes closed or protected by sunglasses that filter UVR.

Benefits of Sunlight: A Bright Spot for Human Health

Each day, Apollo’s fiery chariot makes its way across the sky, bringing life-giving light to the planet. For the ancient Greeks and Romans, Apollo was the god of medicine and healing as well as of sun and light—but Apollo could bring sickness as well as cure. Today’s scientists have come to a similarly dichotomous recognition that exposure to the ultraviolet radiation (UVR) in sunlight has both beneficial and deleterious effects on human health.

Most public health messages of the past century have focused on the hazards of too much sun exposure. UVA radiation (95–97% of the UVR that reaches Earth’s surface) penetrates deeply into the skin, where it can contribute to skin cancer indirectly via generation of DNA-damaging molecules such as hydroxyl and oxygen radicals. Sunburn is caused by too much UVB radiation; this form also leads to direct DNA damage and promotes various skin cancers. Both forms can damage collagen fibers, destroy vitamin A in skin, accelerate aging of the skin, and increase the risk of skin cancers. Excessive sun exposure can also cause cataracts and diseases aggravated by UVR-induced immunosuppression such as reactivation of some latent viruses.

However, excessive UVR exposure accounts for only 0.1% of the total global burden of disease in disability-adjusted life years (DALYs), according to the 2006 World Health Organization (WHO) report The Global Burden of Disease Due to Ultraviolet Radiation. DALYs measure how much a person’s expectancy of healthy life is reduced by premature death or disability caused by disease.

Sunlight Has Cardiovascular Benefits Independently of Vitamin D

Background: High blood pressure (BP) is the leading risk factor for disability adjusted life years lost globally. Epidemiological data show a correlation between increased sun exposure and reduced population BP and cardiovascular mortality. Individuals with high serum vitamin D levels are at reduced risk of hypertension, cardiovascular disease and metabolic syndrome, yet multiple trial data show that oral vitamin D supplementation has no effect on these endpoints. Sunlight is a risk factor for skin cancers, but no link has been shown with increased all-cause mortality. Cohort studies from Scandinavia show a dose-dependent fall in mortality with increased sun-seeking behaviour. Skin contains significant stores of nitrogen oxides, which can be converted to NO by UV radiation and exported to the systemic circulation. Human studies show that this pathway can cause arterial vasodilatation and reduced BP. Murine studies suggest the same mechanism may reduce metabolic syndrome.
